Dinosaur Magic (August 1998). Complete library show in Monroe, GA. Think Big! was the theme that summer, so David created his Dinosaur Magic show to encourage children to read. You’ll see the Think Big Warm-up with Pinky the Dinosaur Puppet, Musical Magic, a Color Changing Stegosaurus, the Dino Egg Bag, Tiny the Mind Reading Triceratops, the Giant & Dwarf, 12 Dinosaurs and Barney, Caveman Test of Manhood, and the appearance of Rabbitasaurus Rex!
Magic Down Under (Spring 1996). Following a 1995 summer family trip to Australia & New Zealand, David presented his Magic Down Under show at 350 schools across Georgia. Sammy Smith’s video crew caught this live performance at a Tifton GA elementary school. Watch with delight as David opens the show with his Upside-Down Water Box, then plunges into musical magic using kiwi fruit and a surprise didgeridoo appearance. As the program continues, David shares a magical story with jars of vegemite and peanut butter, educates the students with animal pictures, then tries to send a teacher’s ring to Australia with amazing results. Finally, David’s magic rabbit Jackaroo Dundee appears unexpectedly to thrill 300 children watching the show.
